Location: The Cottage is situated in a lovely secluded, tucked away, yet not isolated rural location within the Ashdown Forest and a short walk from the centre of the pretty village with its village green and public house. There is a local shop for everyday needs at the end of Straight Half Mile, whilst the larger town of Uckfield with its wider range of shopping facilities including two supermarkets, schooling for all ages and mainline railway station with commuter links to London is about three miles distant.
Directions: From our office in Uckfield high street, proceed north out of town, through Ringles Cross until reaching the roundabout. Proceed through Maresfield, along Straight Half mile and turn right on to the B2026. Proceed until the signpost for Fairwarp village. Continue through the village passing the public house on the left and on exiting Fairwarp, turn left into the forest track directly after the 40 mile an hour speed sign. The Cottage will be found at the end of the track.
